Summer is in full swing and we’re so thrilled to be serving the Stratford area for the second year! Whether you’re a regular shopper or new to Mellow Monkey, I want to personally thank you for trusting us with your home décor and gift needs.
A good part of our success comes from you - our valued customers who tell friends and out-of-town visitors about the store. If you've been, you know we're not exactly on the beaten path. But -- because of you, what started out as a hidden gem has become a statewide destination and we couldn’t be happier that it happened right here in Stratford!
We have many exciting events coming to the store this summer, including the introduction of Two Oh Three State pride apparel (now in store), as well as the introduction of several new local lines we know you're going to love, including Cinder & Salt from Middletown, and YesWeCan Gifts from Fairfield.

But the one thing that continues to give me pause is the countless times a customer tells me that Mellow Monkey is their "Happy Place." That tells me that we have made shopping fun again and that the store is a special place for those who frequently visit us -- a go-to spot for your #LocalShopTherapy! That's a story I adore and it gives me great pride to know it's both enjoyed and appreciated.
