- The 1927 Tour de France was the 21st edition of the Tour de France, taking place from June 19 to July 17. It consisted of 24 stages over 5,398 km. This tour featured the first win by Nicolas Frantz, a cyclist from Luxembourg. Frantz had come in second in the previous tour, and went on to win the tour in 1928 as well.
