• To set, find a source for high and low tides for the location you want to track (easily found on the web or newspaper.)  Determine the exact time of high tide, use the dial in back of the clock to set it in the 12 o'clock position (high tide), and insert the battery.  The clock will then automatically track the tides from that point on.
• Please note that this product may not be accurate for locations in California or the Gulf of Mexico, as their tides are diurnal or mixed.
